If there’s anything that steals, kills and destroys our joy & peace in process that altogether causes us to abort it, is not knowing HOW GOD CORRECTS US IN PROCESS.

For a while before 2019, I was the culprit and slave to condemnation yet in Romans 8:1 God said, of those who are in Christ Jesus, there is therefore now no condemnation!

I was so used to the voice & torment of condemnation because that’s how I thought God corrects His children. This my friends, was the beginning of the end of my faith. This was the kryptonite of my faith.

You see, the devil hides in ignorance because that’s where he thrives. And if there’s one thing he wants us to be oblivious of is HOW GOD CORRECTS US.

Condemnation is such a weak tool to be used to save anyone let alone mature a son of God. If it was any potent then God would have sent condemnation to purchase us. But John 3:17 says something interesting, “For God sent NOT his Son into the world to condemn the world; but that the world through him might be saved.”

God can never use condemnation to grow a son of God because it wasn’t powerful to even save the world.

It simply means, the voice of condemnation we sometimes hear in the path called Process isn’t GOD! There’s a way God speaks to us.

You see, the trickery of the enemy is to have people call darkness light so whenever we say that God is condemning us to teach us a lesson, best believe we’ve already lost the fight.

Condemnation & fear work in tandem: they both have to do with TORMENT & as we saw in the last post (Hebrews 2:14-15), torment now longer marks our process because we are no longer under the bondage of death.

There is no fear in love; but perfect love casteth out fear: because fear hath torment. He that feareth is not made perfect in love. – 1 John 4:18

When God commended His love toward us, in that while we were yet sinners Christ died for us, He ushered us into a realm of no fear or expectation for punishment in our process.

Who shall bring any charge against God’s elect when it is God who justifies (that is, who puts us in right relation to Himself? Who shall come and accuse or impeach those whom God has chosen? Will God, who acquits us?)

Who is there to condemn us? Will Christ Jesus (the Messiah) who died or rather who was raised from the dead, who is at the right hand of God actually pleading as He intercedes for us? – Romans 8:33-34

For you to enjoy this process called salvation, you must see & know who the accuser is and God isn’t that accuser of brethren.

Romans 8:33-34 asked such a liberating question: WHO SHALL LAY A CHARGE AGAINST GOD’S ELECT? Why would the God who died & rose from the dead for you,turn around and be the accuser?

Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above and comes down from the Father of lights whom is no variableness neither shadow of turning. – James 1:17

It’s either God saves or He condemns and I’m glad that isn’t left to our opinion- God is who He is without our opinions and He is the God who saves because He loves.

Now that we have seen that God doesn’t use condemnation to correct His sons, the question to ask is how does God correct us then?

All scripture [is] given by inspiration of God, and [is] profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: -2 Timothy 3:16

God corrects us with His Word. 

All of our learning as sons of God, those born from above, is covered in Christ Jesus & is by the Word of God. God would never correct us outside His written Word & what He has finished in Christ Jesus.

Let’s see it practically in the Word: God in looking to the world, did He send hail storm? Did He beat people up? No, He sent His only Son because only the Perfect image of the Father could restore, save or even mature humanity.

The truth is simple: God correcting us, He will reveal Christ Jesus because by Him, in Him & through Him is everything humanity needed to be restored.

God corrects us by His written Word

Before Jesus ascended to heaven, He said to the disciple, I will send you a Helper who will lead you into all truth. By this truth that He leads you into, is also how God corrects you and I.

Child of God,
This is why we can rejoice in the Lord always & again we rejoice.

So the next time, you hear that accuser- the devil speak, rebuke him by saying “Condemnation isn’t how God corrects me. So I rebuke you devil! ” then ask the Holy Spirit to show you the Word, God is looking to point you into light concerning.

Don’t accept condemnation!

God doesn’t save or corrects by condemning, He works in us by giving us a revelation of Christ!
