Oh how I love You

You are the One my heart adores.

One day, God took me for a date at Karura Forest where He opened my eyes and ears to see & hear the true cry of creation.

Every day, there’s a song that creation serenades God with. And maybe, just maybe when we stop being so star struck with creation, that we will actually hear what they communicate to & about God. Because each passing day, they scream the beauty of His majesty.

The Waters Falling

The trees watch as the waters free fall in a beautiful surrender. Creation watches as the waters follow the sound of Your voice. They watch, mesmerized as the waters follow Your voice which sounds as many waters do. And creation knows the roar of these waters is just an echo of Your beautiful sound.

These waters release the sound of Your voice.

And as some of these waters fall

Their sound, LOUD yet calming & captivating.

With every whisper disguised in their fall is like a heartbeat

Each informed by Your tenderness.

The Majestic Sun

Fierce, with each ray piercing the very space called Earth; but it still doesn’t reveal the mystery You are.

As dusk approaches, many colors are breathed on the sky as it sets as it communicates that its only assurance of rising is YOU.

We are captured by its golden rays that falls on everything on its path, cutting through the trees, as the highlight for creation yet this doesn’t compare to the Beauty of Your Majesty.

The Surrendered Trees

” I long to drink of you, O God, drinking deeply from the streams of pleasure flowing from your presence. My longings overwhelm me for more of you! – Psalms 42:1 TPT “

Everyday, they spread their roots in so deep where man cannot see. Dependent on land they are yet they scream that the experience of More comes as we dig deep.

Because intimacy doesn’t come from surface knowledge but from the depth where we brace through the rocks, the crawling insects that try to dislodge & distract us, just to know You.

Where our roots in You are in so deep that no storm, no wind can uproot us from You.

And their leaves which fall in its time. Even they, aren’t afraid that its their time to depart. Because as they grace the earth with a gender kiss, they grace Your ears with whispers of praise.

The Caves

The mystery they hold; not of humanity that once called them “home” BUT of the ‘why’ YOU made them.

Dark to the human eye yet hold much light. Just like the Holy of Holies where You dwell.

Yet even in darkness, these caves don’t fright.

Their quiet trust is YOU who called them to be.

Because where You are, darkness is Light.

So secrets they hold

Not of ancient man but of the Mystery Of You~ our dwelling place.

Where Creation unites

In the rustling of leaves, in the intensity of the water falling, this is where each thing You breathed upon meets; The Union of their praise to YOU.

Captivating they are, yet don’t come close to Your Beauty.

And I join with the Anthem Song of Creation;

Here I am, down on my knees Oh Lord
